About the Journal

FOCUS AND SCOPE
OKULONGA - Revista Científica Multidisciplinar do IGS is a multidisciplinary scientific publication of the Gregório Semedo Higher Polytechnic Institute (IGS), dedicated to the dissemination of academic, scientific, and technological knowledge with a direct impact on Angolan and African society.
Its focus is on the production, systematization, and dissemination of applied research, empirical studies, theoretical essays, and innovative experiences that contribute to the understanding, intervention, and social, economic, political, technological, and territorial transformation.
The journal seeks to serve as a bridge between academia and the community, valuing research that responds to contemporary challenges, promotes sustainable development, strengthens citizenship, encourages innovation, and drives evidence-based solutions.
It publishes works by professors, researchers, postgraduate students, and professionals from various fields of knowledge, with a special focus on the strategic areas developed by IGS.

To promote the dissemination of rigorous, relevant, and socially committed scientific knowledge, strengthening the dialogue between academic research, technological innovation, and the real needs of communities, thus contributing to the human, economic, and sustainable development of Angola.

To be a leading national and international scientific journal, recognized for its editorial quality, scientific rigor, and commitment to social transformation, positioning itself as a platform of excellence for multidisciplinary studies that integrate science, public policy, technology, and community.
 
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
To foster the production and circulation of scientific knowledge with high academic and social impact, promoting critical reflection, informed debate, and innovation in areas that contribute to the strengthening of institutions, organizations, governance, the economy, public policies, technologies, and communities.
 
EDITORIAL POLICY AND PUBLICATION GUIDELINES
OKULONGA - Revista Científica Multidisciplinar do IGS adopts editorial policies aligned with international standards of ethics and scientific quality, based on the norms of COPE - Committee on Publication Ethics, guaranteeing integrity, transparency, and rigor in editorial processes.
